  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1½ tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon sesame oil
  • ⅛ teaspoon white pepper

For the Stir-Fry:

  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • ½ red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons neutral oil
  • ½ teaspoon minced ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef: Pat dry the steak and slice into thin strips. Toss with baking soda, refrigerate for 30 minutes, rinse, and season with salt and pepper.
