4.7 from 104 reviews

A refreshing Starbucks-inspired iced brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso, perfectly balanced with the rich flavors of blonde espresso, brown sugar syrup, and a hint of cinnamon, shaken vigorously and topped with creamy oat milk and ice for a delightful caffeine boost.

Ingredients

Scale

Espresso Mix

  • 3 capsules Nespresso Starbucks Blonde espresso (or 3 shots of light roast espresso)
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar syrup
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Other Ingredients

  • 1 cup ice, plus more if needed
  • ¼ cup oat milk, plus more to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, add the Blonde espresso shots, brown sugar syrup, ground cinnamon, and 1 cup of ice. If you don’t have a shaker, use a jar with a tight lid as a substitute.
  2. Shake Vigorously: Shake the mixture 10 times with vigour to chill and mix the espresso with the syrup and cinnamon evenly, creating a frothy texture.
  3. Pour into Cup: Pour the shaken espresso mixture, including the ice, into your serving cup.
  4. Add Oat Milk: Pour in ¼ cup of oat milk, or adjust according to your taste preference for creaminess.
  5. Top with Ice: Add additional ice cubes as needed to keep the drink chilled and refreshing.

Notes

  • For the brown sugar syrup, you can easily make it at home by dissolving equal parts brown sugar and water over low heat until combined.
  • Adjust the amount of oat milk and syrup based on your desired sweetness and creaminess.
  • This recipe uses espresso capsules for convenience, but freshly brewed espresso shots also work well.
  • Shaking the espresso with ice helps create a smooth, frothy texture and cools the drink quickly.
