  • cake pop sticks
  • candy coating (Candyquik recommended)
  • Cake Pop holder or Styrofoam board
  • Optional: Sprinkles for decorating

Instructions

  1. Bake the cake: Prepare and bake the cake mix according to the package instructions. Cool completely.
  2. Crumble the cake: In a large bowl, crumble the cake into fine crumbs by hand.
  3. Add frosting: Gradually mix in the frosting until fully combined.
  4. Form cake balls: Shape the mixture into balls and refrigerate for 4 hours.
  5. Melt candy coating: Melt the candy coating in the microwave.
  6. Assemble cake pops: Dip cake pop sticks in coating, then insert into cake balls. Dip the balls in coating and decorate as desired.
