Instructions

  1. Sauté Onion and Garlic: Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the sautéed onion and garlic with chopped baby spinach, ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Greek yogurt, fresh dill, lemon juice, dried oregano, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  3. Form Patties: Shape the mixture into approximately eight patties, each about 1/2 inch thick for even cooking.
  4. Pan-Fry Patties: Heat the remaining olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until they are nicely browned and cooked through with an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
