Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9×13 inch pan.
  2. Mix cake batter: In a bowl, combine cake mix, water, oil, and eggs. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  3. Prepare apple filling: In a separate bowl, toss the sliced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Spread the apple mixture over the cake batter.
