This Easy Layered Taco Bake is a delicious and simple twist on traditional tacos. Layers of seasoned ground beef, salsa con queso, tortillas, and cheese come together for a flavorful and satisfying dish that the whole family will love.

Ground Beef:

  • 1 pound ground beef

Taco Seasoning:

  • 1 packet taco seasoning

Water:

  • Water as called for on back of seasoning packet (usually 3/4 cup water)

Salsa Con Queso:

  • 1/2 cup salsa con queso

Flour Tortillas:

  • 3 (8-inch) flour tortillas (soft taco size)

Mexican Cheese Blend:

  • 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend (divided use)

Instructions

  1. Brown and crumble the ground beef: Drain excess grease.
  2. Add taco seasoning and water as directed on the seasoning packet. Cook according to package instructions.

  3. Combine with salsa con queso: Stir in salsa con queso until well mixed.
  4. Preheat oven and prepare pan: Preheat to 350F. Grease an 8-inch round baking pan.
  5. Layer the tortillas: Place one tortilla at the bottom of the pan.
  6. Layer the filling: Add a third of the taco meat, followed by a third of the shredded cheese.
  7. Repeat the layers: Continue layering tortillas, meat, and cheese until all ingredients are used.
  8. Bake: Bake at 350F for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and edges are golden.
  9. Serve: Let cool slightly, then slice and serve with your favorite toppings.
