Creamy Ranch Chicken is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that features tender chicken smothered in a rich and savory ranch-infused cream sauce. Perfect for a comforting weeknight dinner or a special family meal.

Chicken:

  • 2 large boneless/skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • Salt/Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 12 tablespoons olive oil

Sauce:

  • 10.5 oz. cream of chicken soup
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 1 cup sour cream, at room temperature
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 oz. packet Ranch seasoning mix

Instructions

  1. Season/Sear the Chicken: Slice the chicken into 2-3 thinner slices. Pound with a meat tenderizer if needed. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Brush with melted butter. Sear in a hot pan until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  2. Make the Sauce: Combine cream of chicken soup, milk, sour cream, onion powder, and Ranch seasoning in the skillet. Let it simmer and thicken. Add the chicken back to the skillet and spoon sauce over. Cover and simmer until chicken is cooked through, about 10 minutes.
  3. Optional: Serve with baked potatoes, spooning extra sauce over each potato.
