Meatballs:

  • 1/2 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 2/3 cup milk of your choice
  • 1 lb. ground beef or preferred meat
  • 1/4 medium onion, finely chopped or grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a baking mat.
  2. Soak Breadcrumbs: In a large bowl, mix breadcrumbs and milk, let sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Add ground beef, onion, garlic, egg, salt, pepper, Parmesan, and parsley to breadcrumb mixture. Gently combine by hand.
  4. Form Meatballs: Portion mixture onto baking sheet, roll into 2-inch meatballs.
  5. Bake: Bake meatballs for 18-20 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Serve: Remove from oven, drain excess fat, and serve with sauce.
