  • 1 ½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 ½ tbsp chili powder
  • 3 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)

For the Pasta:

  • 5 cups milk
  • 4 cups farfalle pasta
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese

For the Vegetables:

  • 1 medium red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 medium yellow bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 medium green bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 medium yellow onion (sliced)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Chicken: Heat butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes, turning halfway through. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  2. Saute the Vegetables: Add sliced bell peppers and onions to the skillet, and cook until the peppers are soft and the onion is translucent, about 5-6 minutes.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Add the chicken back into the skillet, then add salt, black pepper, chili powder, cumin, brown sugar, and garlic. Stir until well-coated.
  4. Cook the Pasta: Pour in the milk and pasta, bring to a boil. Reduce to medium heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Add Cheese: Sprinkle the cheese over the top and mix in until completely melted.
