Syrup:
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp almond extract
- 2 tbsp dry powdered milk or coffee creamer
- Pinch of salt
- Combine sugar and water: In a small saucepan, pour in 1 cup of water and 1 cup of granulated sugar.
- Heat and stir: Turn the heat to medium and whisk gently until the sugar dissolves.
- Add butter: Drop in 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Stir until melted and combined.
