Brazilian Lemonade with Coconut is a refreshing and creamy twist on traditional lemonade. The addition of sweetened condensed milk gives it a rich, velvety texture, while coconut extract adds a tropical flavor that pairs perfectly with the tartness of fresh limes.

Cold Water:

  • 3 cups

Sugar:

  • 1/2 cup

Limes:

  • 2, washed

Sweetened Condensed Milk:

  • 3 tablespoons

Coconut Extract (optional):

  • 1/8 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Place the cold water into a blender. Add the sugar and coconut extract.
  2. Add the sweetened condensed milk in the blender.
  3. Wash the limes with soap and water, rinse well. Cut the ends off the limes.
  4. Then cut the limes into small pieces, about 18 pieces for each lime.
  5. Add the limes and blend for 20 seconds.
  6. Using a fine mesh strainer, place the strainer over a bowl or a pitcher. Pour the mixture into the strainer removing the pulp.
  7. Pour into 2-4 glasses and drink immediately.
  8. If it is too bitter, add more sweetened condensed milk. (Some limes are more bitter than others).
  9. Add ice to your liking.
