Instructions

  1. Add Salt: Season both sides of the ground beef with salt. If using a block of meat, cut it in half and season both sides.
  2. Cook Ground Beef: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the ground beef for 2 minutes on each side.
  3. Brown Meat: Break up the meat and cook until fully browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  4. Season: Mix cumin, garlic powder, chili powder, oregano, and smoked paprika together.
  5. Season Meat: Sprinkle the seasoning over the browned meat, stir, and cook for 1 more minute.
  6. Add Broth: Pour in the broth, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 4-5 minutes.
  7. Serve: Once the liquid has reduced, turn off the heat and serve the taco meat warm.
