Ingredients

Scale

Liquid Ingredients

  • 2 ounces apple cider, chilled (NOT apple cider vinegar)
  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 cup ginger beer, chilled

Other Ingredients

  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • 1 to 2 half-moon apple slices, for garnish
  • 1 cinnamon stick, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Pour the chilled apple cider, vodka, and freshly squeezed lime juice into a Moscow Mule copper mug.
  2. Add Ice and Ginger Beer: Add 1 cup of crushed ice into the mug, then top off with 1/2 cup of chilled ginger beer. Stir well to combine all the flavors.
  3. Garnish: Drop one or two half-moon apple slices into the mug along with a cinnamon stick to add an aromatic garnish and enhance the drink’s seasonal feel.
  4. Serve: Enjoy the cocktail cold immediately for the best refreshing experience.

Notes

  • Use chilled ingredients to keep the drink cold without diluting it quickly.
  • Do not substitute apple cider vinegar for apple cider, as the vinegar will alter the flavor drastically.
  • Adjust the amount of ginger beer based on your preference for sweetness and spice level.
  • Using a copper mug helps retain the cold temperature and enhances the traditional Moscow Mule experience.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit the vodka and add extra ginger beer or sparkling water.
